Brian Darcy

Brian Darcy's fascination with the countryside was already instilled as a youngster growing up in Yorkshire,England. Moving to Canada at the age of seven he became involved with the scouting movement. This exposure taught Brian to appreciate the outdoors and while hiking and exploring the Bruce Trail,he also came to love the surrounding farmland. This has become a lasting influence in his paintings.

Working in his favourite medium, oil on Belgian linen he portrays a fine arts vision of the countryside .Both in Canada , and the lush hills of his homeland England , he focuses on the uniquenesss of each countrys living landscape.

Participating in the prestigious World Wildlife Fund Auction and meeting HRH Prince Philip are highlights of this talented artist. With awards including the Canadian Society of painters in Watercolour, his work hangs in private and corporate collections throughout Canada ,United States and England
