Emil is the Owner of the Wellington Gallery. In 2002, one of Emil’s companies, the Rollick Beverage Company, became the most profitable growth company in Canada as determined by Profit Magazine.

“Throughout my life, I have had a love of the arts. I have a European Heritage and I still have a home on Lake Balaton in Europe where I visit most summers.”
  • For a painting to be “good”, it must result in a strong emotion or feeling in the viewer. Ultimately people are attracted to a painting because of its emotion.
  • Abstract paintings are often controversial and thus can be very emotional!
  • I incorporate line , colour, form , plane and balance into my paintings.
  • My pallet consists of only the three primary colours, cyan, magenta and yellow. I also use white (which is not technically a “colour”. In the art world it is considered a tint). Black is a result of mixing equal amounts of the primary colours. All other colours in my painting are carefully mixed from the primary colours.
