Emma May Martin (1865-1956)
Emma-May Martin was the daughter of Thomas Mower Martin, who was a founding member of the Ontario Society of Artists as well at the Royal Canadian Academy. Emma-May was the second eldest and painted through out her life.
This painting in particular is irreplaceable. One of her best works, this painting was completed 124 years ago. Her talent was exhibited at an early age as this painting was painted when she was only 21 years old. The painting has been kept in pristine condition in its original frame.
