In 1995, he exhibited his work at the China Fine Arts Museum in Beijing. In recognition of the excellence of his work, several of his paintings have been entered into the museum's permanent collection. In 1997, Professor Di's work was exhibited in Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaysia.
Li-Feng's oil panels "The Imperial Family of the Qing Dynasty" and "The Orient without Evil" are recognized in both China and Hong Kong as modern masterpieces. These studies of the aristocracy of the last dynasty have been praised for their intimate portrayal of the individuals who shaped China's past. His portraits of Qing Dynasty noblewomen combine historical accuracy and imagination into a luxurious vision of the ladies who inhabited the royal court.
