Canada winner Museum of American Folk Art, New York's world wide quilt contest 1989, winner 1992 and 1993 Canada Trust Best Folk Art Award for paintings. Recipient of the Canada 125 Medal for wide success of folk art in Canada. Recipient of Ontario Arts Council Grants and Canada Council Grants. Her sixty painting Irish series purchased and donated to Concordia University, Montreal . Four paintings in the Michael C. Williams Collection at the University Victoria, British Columbia.

Canada 145 Medal awarded to Sheila Maloney for her contribution to Canada's Art and Culture.
